Grace Conway is an independent scholar of Religious Studies based in Dublin, Ireland. Her research focuses on the history of esotericism from the nineteenth century onward, with particular attention to its entanglements with contemporary intellectual and cultural currents. She received her Research Master’s degree in Religious Studies (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam in 2025 and holds a BA (Hons) in World Religions and Theology from Trinity College Dublin. Her current research examines the reinvention of Atlantis within esoteric and speculative traditions, tracing its intersections with colonial ideologies and the evolution of modern epistemic frameworks. Her work has been published in Correspondences: Journal for the Study of Esotericism, and she has presented at conferences of the European Society for the Study of Western Esotericism and the European Academy of Religion.
