Milan Reith is a PhD Candidate in Religious Studies at the University of Göttingen. He has a master’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of Amsterdam as well as a master’s degree in Philosophy from Radboud University. In his previous research he has focused on the history of esotericism in twentieth century Italy, in particular on the Traditionalism of Julius Evola and anti-masonic discourse in the Italian Communist movement. He is also interested in social and political issues in contemporary esotericism and the influence of Traditionalism on far-right movements.
