Davide Marino is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Göttingen and a Research Fellow at the University of Vienna. He received his PhD in Religious Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023. His research focuses on the reception of East Asian religions (especially Chinese) in Traditionalism and French occultism, as well as on marginalized forms of religion in contemporary China. In addition to serving as a coordinator for ContERN, he is also one of the coordinators of the East Asian Network for the Academic Study of Esotericism (EANASE).
